Welcome 2006!

The object of a New Year is not that we should have a new year. It is that we should have a new soul and a new nose; new tongue; new feet, a new backbone, new ears, and new eyes. Unless a particular man made New Year resolutions, he would make no resolutions. Unless a man starts afresh about things, he will certainly do nothing effective.
~G.K. Chesterton

Prosit Neujahr! Bonne Annee! Antum salimoun! Happy New Year!

Thanks!

Yep…I'm really happy that I have got so many comments for my first post which I actually did not expect. Your comments, of course, make me more energized. A very special thanks to every one of you for your time and interest.

"To know the road ahead, ask those coming back."
- Chinese proverb.

As this wise saying says, I have so many bloggers at the forefront to learn about blogging. Though I started writing posts now only, I have been reading posts of many bloggers for quite a long time. There have been so many interesting things from every one of them which aroused me.

And…I wish to particularly thank the one who first introduced the blog to me. I thought its no fair not to name him. He is Cipher @ Raj. He's been giving me so many tips and suggestions about blogging. Thanks da!

Hope you all would extend your interest at bouncers!

The door is shut for DADA???

Needless to say that the fans of Dada (me..one of them) were really disappointed after his drop out from the test squad for the third test. I still wonder why he has been dropped out even after having played two decent innings. It is true that he did not score a ton as sachin did, but he played a very tolerant and determined innings, even though he was shaky at the beginning for some time. I do agree that he was not as royal as he was before, but he fought very hard and showed some elegance.

The chief selector Kiran more said that Ganguly is dropped out to strengthen the middle order, keeping the future of the Indian cricket in mind. Doesn't it sound perplexed? The chief may have forgotten the fact that the present Indian cricket itself was moulded by the prince of kolkatta. Kiran more can, but we. To be fair, he should have been given some more chances.

I would say that he could have very well been unnoticed for this series also. But after his two salutary innings, his drop out has, no doubt, won him some more fans and sympathy.

Now the question is, will he again make a come back?

Before we say something on it, Ganguly himself has said that "I'll go back and play domestic cricket and try to fight my way back into the team," That is the spirit.

I'm sure there is yet a lot of cricket to be played by Ganguly for India. I wish him for a speedy come back!

Every dog has its own blog!

I'm so excited, coz I've got my own blog. I don't know that anyone would actually be interested in reading it. But it seems like it might be fun to write about something which goes over my head. I guess I should give you a little background about myself. Of course there is nothing special about me. People say that I'm extrovert. I'm just a passionate fanatic who expends most of the time with computer, speaks 01000111010100, likes biting nails and hates salty food, currently residing at the garden city.

I had been thinking of starting a blog for quite a long time. Some days I justified myself that, I do not have time for blogging. But then I realised after reading this adage "The more you do, The more you can do".

Well...Right now I don't have anything to write. I'll write back soon.
